Music of America, like Jazz, is made up of a so-called primitive spirit and natural search for beauty. African people and Native American people have feelings of thanks for god and nature and express it directly. Europeans tend to look for beauty with having thankful feelings. These characters made Jazz. It is the American character, culture, history, and tradition itself.
The reason why people need music is not only to express thanks to god and nature or to hope for happiness, but also to look for beauty. It is surely an expression of an awareness and expression of the feeling: ‘I am living now.’
